I am about to service my Pajero myself, and want to find out more about blocking the EGR system.

Can someone help me out? Is it a good move?

My car has 208000 on the clock now. I have done the last 4 services myself, but I am not very technical with cars.

I am going to perform the following on the next service:
Oil change
Oil filter change
Fuel filter change
Air filter change
New Chain guide for top of timing chain

I want to block the EGR at the same time, if it is a good idea. Any advice/steps to do this will be appreciated!
