I have a rattle in the centre dash, above radio.
The agents have tried twice to fix but to no avail; any advice will be apreciated?

Hi Johan,
Kon iemand joune regmaak?

Ah! The undocumented feature of the Gen 3 Pajero - the rattle in the dash
My 2007 GLX does exactly the same and I too have been considering pulling things apart to look for the culprit but knowing my luck I'd probably not find the problem and introduce additional rattles, squeaks & scratches in the process.
Another thing I have learned about the Pajero is that the noise doesn't always emanate from where you think it's coming from. For example: I had a light metallic buzzing sound which could be heard when under slight load at about 2200rpm. Despite much searching nobody (me, dealer, wife, friends) could find the source of the noise that we all agreed was in the rear cargo area - until one of the front passenger grab-handle bolts actually fell out! I put it back with some locktite and the noise has never been heard since.
Good luck & keep us informed!
Bruce

Drive 20000km on badly corregated roads... this will introduce more ratlles so the dash rattle doesn't stress you out anymore
I had a nose emanating from underneath which I was convinced was a problem with the propshaft. it only happened under low revs and the engine under strain.. until I realised the handle for the jack was loose under the rear passenger seat...

Hi Simon,
Thanks, agree
I do not plan to open the dash before another 10 000 km offroad
