LED Boot light
This is my next mod to increase light even more in the boot of my Paj, have gone the LED route there already which is big improvement, think this will make it better:

I want to go from current LED to really bright LED - see pics below

Re: LED Boot light
Going to try this one, looks like it should fit well in the boot light enclosure:

Re: LED Boot light
I have just received and installed my 24 LED light into the CARGO area, this makes a huge difference to the original light that was used, I can see clearly now and took 1 minute to install, do not need to modify any wires, just clips into original light housing and has double sided tape already on, comes with everything you need to connect. Quick and simple, highly recommended. best mod for the cost so far. I am a happy camper :-).

On a different note though with LED's, don't waste your time with the LED park lights they blow within 60 days, have gone through 4 now already......

WIll try a 12 way mini panel for the front console lights next to get more light up front, So far happy with boot and rear seat area, fantastic lighting!!!! Front and map reading lights still need some work though.
Re: LED Boot light
Wow that looks cool, cause the standard light is pretty crappy. Will get one of those
thanks

Re: LED Boot light
I just installed the 24 LED light into the boot area - what a difference. Makes the stock bulb seem pretty ineffective

With regard to the console lights up front, I replaced all 3 with the 12 LED light array. They only just fit into the housing, but if one removes the entire fitting from the roof, it becomes much easier to fit them in. I had to file the PCB on two corners to get them in but they work very well in this location - to say they are bright would be an understatement.

After a few trips I found the center console light (the one which comes on when you open the doors) to be far too bright for my liking and would recommend that something less powerful be used in this location. I ended up just covering up 8 of the 12 LED's with black electrical tape - worked like a charm. The brilliantly bright map lights on either side are certainly going to come in useful though.

Only thing I can think of which would improve the setup would be a tinted orange / yellow cellophane cutout to be included inside the transparent cover for the center console light. Just to warm the light output and take the edge off. ;)

Re: LED Boot light
I needed to make an attempt at diffusing the 'sunshine-bright' center console light. I used electrical tape to mask off some of the LED's, and sanded the LEDs' lenses to further diffuse the light. I then cutout a piece of plastic from a blue translucent tupperware lid, and sanded this smooth with 1200grit sandpaper. I really like the resulting effect, as it is far less harsh than the bare LED light.

I left the side map lights vanilla as I like being able to flood the passenger compartment with light at the touch of a button. Needless to say, they are extremely bright!
