I was considering getting the chrome covers for my Gen 3's black mirrors which are badly scratched, and came across this on a cruiser site, what are you throughts on just wrapping in matt black or carbon fibre look to get them to look better again?

I think that's a good idea. Why paint if you can wrap?

Wrap, its easy enouhg, carbon fibre is plentyfull and hides the scratches better than the plain.
