Hi All

Lately my Paj makes this funny noise that seems to come from the rear brakes.

It only happens after the car has been washed and only in reverse. Once the car has moved forward for more or less 1km the noise is gone, and will only return after the next car wash? What could this be

not sure but my brakes are also noisy directly after a wash...they soon stop making the noise after I drive off

Mine do the same. funny noises, screeching and groaning after it was wet.

I will usually get my car washed as work during the mornings and then park it until 4 when i go home.

At 4 when i start to drive off, after releasing the hand brake it will tend to stick and let go with a clang.

so the tip i were given is when ever the rear brakes are wet or you have driven off road and water and mud crossings and you cant clean the wheels soon, leave the car in gear and don't pull up the hand brake.

This will help the hand brake disks not sticking and clang when you drive off.

But still have not solved the screeching when applying the normal brake just after a wash or it became wet.
