I thought the Gen4 was bigger than the Gen3, but because there was the SWB in the mix, I couldn't be sure. I downloaded the Gen3 and 4 brochures form this site http://www.bukkehave.com and attached are the nuts and bolts of their dimensions.
In summary:
My new car is 2cm narrower and the wheels are 1cm further apart. Visually it has removed the slightly "overweight" look of my previous car. It is 7cm longer (I noticed my garage was taking strain). All of the extra length sits in the overhangs - not good for the off road excursions. The ground clearance is the same, but the roof is 1.5cm higher. I think the extra headroom is noticeable (in a car originally endowed with plenty headroom in any case). All this at a cost of an extra 40kg to push and pull around.
