I recently purchased a 2008 GLX 3.2 from the agents.(107000kms)
Selecting drive it takes off normally and after a few meters gives a lurch and sticks in 3rd gear and the N light starts flashing above the D which is also lit. It then remains in 3rd gear and even pushing the gear lever to the left for manual control has no effect.It will go into neutral, reverse and park and the engine only starts in P or N. The oil level is OK.
The agents are stumped at the moment and looking to Mitsubishi for advice.
Anybody have any suggestions.

was the filter in the gearbox replaced at the 100k service? if not do it... mine started doing the same thing and the filter replacement sorted it out..
