My Lil Japanjero
Hi Guy's

New to the site so thought I would just introduce my Gen2 SWB 3000 V6 Pajero.
Here is the short and sweet version ;)

I bought it a few years ago, lady driven, had never seen off road and had about 60 000km on. Mint condition.

But the off road part was about to change. I used to be a toyota man, my last toyota being a kitted DC hilux. But when I saw the Paj, I had to have it, lol. And so a few mods began.

First up was a few power mods, so fitted and did the following:

Free flow exhaust
Headers
K&N
Tops were skimmed and free flowed, valves changed
Engine was Blueprinted
All managed and tuned with a Dastek Unichip.

Then came time for proper wheels, so on came a set of imported Watanabe off road rims, alloy inner with stainles steel dish.

Which were fitted with a set of Yokohama MT's

Then came bumpers, front and back, could not find what I wanted, so went the custom route.Image

Was happy with the standard suspension, as my model is factory fitted with a hydraulic lift kit, raises body 70mm at touch of a button. But the standard springs got a bit saggy at 150 000km, so went the OME route.
Image

Then realised a little bit more travel on the front wont be bad, as the paj often lifted his leg on some obstaclesImage

So cut the front Bump stops

And Voila

Later added a diy roof rack, but recently removed it as was not 100% happy. New one in the making. I use the paj mostly for kaokoland and damaraland trips. And have been known to do some recoveries in remote areas. Love the little beast. :)

Re: My Lil Japanjero
finally had a bit of time again to give the paj a bit of attention. So started/finished a few things I've been wanting to do :P
Image

did the base for my "accessory rack", still has to be rounded off but the frame is done. Will keep the full rack for long trips
Image

Image

Re-attatched my tow ball...finally
Image

modding my packing frame for a water tank
Image

Upgraded my interior lighting with some led
Image

and seeing our rainy season starting up again decided to re-inforce my rear recovery point

Suggestions etc always welcome ;)
