Knock sound left front ?

Hi,
Betty got a 'knock' at left front when going over speed bumps or something similar. It is normally a single 'knock' just as we have reached the top - just about at the turning point of going downwards again.
Had it checked at the shop 2-weeks ago when she was serviced and they 'tightened' some bolts, it was gone for about 3 speed bumps but is back again.
A shock test showed the shocks to be OK for now.
Any idea what next I can test to determine the cause ?

Hi Neil

I have the same problem, I have new Gabriel HDP shocks fitted. I thought it was bad fitment, but narrowed it down to the sway bar bushes. Have ordered the two bushes, will pick them up soon and fit them.

I'd bet you a beer it's the stabilizer links or the antiroll bar bushes or the shocks as Nick mentioned.

is the bushes something I can change myself with normal diy tools ?
Do I buy Mitso bushes or should I get something else ?

I had the exact same sound when going over speed bumps.
I replaced the stabilizer links and all was fine. Think it was R600 for both from Mitspro
