National Luna Dual Battery Controller Connection
My National Luna Dual Battery Controller is behaving erratically. It beeps and shows no charge, but when I push the cable into the controller it stops complaining and shows all is well. I suspect the connection is faulty. However both the pins and the connector look fine.

Is this a common problem? What is the fix?

Re: National Luna Dual Battery Controller Connection
Unfortunately, I don't have a solution for you...

But I would give Nation Luna a call (in JHB) - they were very helpful with tech questions when I phoned in the past.

I can only think of 2 things: Connector contacts which could have become a bit worn from vibrations and now they don;t always make contact. There could also be a wire that is broken, and only making contact intermittently. Are there any tight bends / folds / pinches in the cable?

Re: National Luna Dual Battery Controller Connection
Mine's done the same. You can get a new cable from NL. Cant remember the cost (not cheap) but that will sort you out.
I just kept it disconnected, the controller still works
Re: National Luna Dual Battery Controller Connection
Safari Centre replaced the controller under the 3 year warranty. The connector was loose internally. Excellent service.
