I fitted aftermarket spotlights to my gen2. Does anybody know if there are wires in the harness for these. The switch on the dash, according to owners handbook, are for front foglights but they switch the rear foglights. I would like to use this switch to trigger a relay for the fronts.
I also thought of this when installing my spots as mine doesn't have fogs, but according to the owners manual the foglights go off when the mail lights are on bright... That changed my mind and I instead connected my relay to my brights.
If you would really like, I'd suggest running your relay off the foglight light in the dashboard, this would be difficult though and I don't know if that indication lights wire has enough power to activate the relay. maybe someone with an electric background could help us out on that.
