The buttons on the steering wheel for the radio have packed up on my Gen 4 GLS. They were working intermittently for a while but recently stopped working altogether. Any idea how to fix this?

When i did homework on the triton clockspring issue i memember a guy mentioning that the clock spring also runs steering control buttons on cars that have the feature. So it might be that this is your problem.FAULTY CLOCKSPRING
Thanks for the information. Where would I be able to check the clock spring? Or would an auto-electrician be able to sort this out relatively cheaply?

Would Freek's crew be able to fix? maybe let them look first.
I cant see why someone like mitsupro cant do it.I would however phone the stealers and ask the mitsu service manager if it is possibly the cause and what they quote for the replacement.
Have a look under clock spring on the net,you will notice its an issue many manufacturers have.

Stealers (Bryanston) have no stock, and did not seem to be too bothered about ordering any. Any quick solutions out there?
