Hi all
i have a gen 3 2003 super exceed pajero. it is a Japanese import. although pretty much loaded with features but lacks a back up camera. the gps is factory spec and is in Japanese. i'm posting a pic of a similar one for ref. i want to know how can i install a camera and is there a wiring diagram to guide me through the installation.
Not sure you will get any help here as I do not know of anyone that has done this mod.
Thirst thing would probably be to see what type of inputs your current system can accommodate. If there are open video ports at the back it would be a simple plug and play I would guess?
I have however seen these very cool cameras on the net that fit perfectly in the number plate lighting space of the Pajero and thus seem like a OME fitment.
Please keep us updated on your fitment as this is on my to do list one day as well.

thanks Cats. thing is these Japanese model do come with a OEM camera with this same unit. so there must be an output for it. as you have mentioned the after market camera , i am looking for the same unit. but my only problem is the wiring. how to install it and where are the wire/ connectors are located in the tail gate , a,b,c,d pillar. i have attached couple of OEM camera images. doesn't this mean that there must be a wiring loom already connected to the display unit and extended to the tail gate. now only the camera needs to be installed.
