I have a knocking noise when I apply brakes and pull away. I have a 2007 swb 3.2 DID pajero. The agent cannot fix it any idea how a get this fixed.

is it a constant knock, knock, knock ( points to CV joint )
or
a single knock on pull away and then a single knock on braking? ( can be a CV joint or an engine mounting )
or

I had a knock too and had a bush / rubber repalced that solved the problem. I think the technition said it was situated between the body and the torsion bar ancor arm.
