Hi.

So first the reason for the mod. Well I have replaced the lenses so many times already and at R1000 each it was getting ridiculous. When driving off road sometimes you back up into something when space is limited.

So what I did was to make a plate that fit the original lights and installed three 60mm round LED lights that you ormally find on trucks, etc.

I used 2mm plate and cut it out with a plasma cutter. But a grinder and hole saw would also work. I then hammered the edges round to give it some rigidity.

I then sanded the surface smooth and I like to paint it undercoat to check if it is really flat and smooth.

I then sandblasted the plates.

And finally powder coated it textured black.
