HELP NEEDED
Good morning
oky so i have removed my 1996 lwb 3.5L v6 engine and the massive gearbox that goes with it (what a battle).
the gearbox and the engine is still as one i have removed the bolts on the bellhousing but when i try to pull the two apart it looks like the clutch is keeping it from splitting
any advice please please please

On some of the gearboxes there is a clip that you need to access from the inspection cover to get the teo apart. Keep in mind I know nothing of what I am talking of. Just seem to have read something like this somewhere, I think :roll:

Hi yes Cats is correct. The clutch is a pull type and not a push type. You will need to look through bell housing and use a long thin screwdriver to pry off the ring from the clutch fingers. see pic.
