Hi all -i'm new to this forum and have owned a 1998 LWB Pajero 3.0V6 (manual) with 280K on the clock in immaculate condition for some 12 years. I have a front right loud "clicking" noise which can be heard on every rotation of the front wheel at low speed. I've been told it could be the front hub bearing which would cost R4500 to replace with labour ? Does anyone know if this could / is the cause ? Is this a common problem ?.... and is this price ridiculous ? Many Thanks Alec
Hi Alec,

Thanks for the responses guys. The Pajero is the old shape 1998 model. Yes, it could be the CV joint - good point !
If I need parts, I will certainly look at Masterparts. I just need to isolate what the noise is without replacing unnecessary parts. I will check with my mechanic or even ask Mitsubishi to advise and quote (if they are willing to do so.)
