Hi,
The 120 000km service is due on my 2008 Pajero.
So this includes the transfer case oil change.
The owners manual states GL-4 SAE 75W-85 or 75W-90
The Mercedes dealership (Rola Somerset West)say that they use Mobilube GX-A for all the Pajero transfer cases. I looked at the spec, and it is GL-4 SAE 80W.
Any ideas if this will be okay? They say that it has always been used by the Mercedes dealerships that service Mitsubishi as well.
As far as I know, Mitsubishi Paarden Island use Caltex Easyshift SAE 75W90.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Greg
Greg,
I use Castrol Syntrans/Multivehicle which is exactly what the manual recommends as you noted

both should be fine but if you can, get the easyshift!
Thanks for the replies.
