Good day all,
I’m new to the forum, great sight. I would appreciate any help on how to adjust the hand brake on a Paj 3.2 Did, I have disks on the rear wheels and not drums. The technical forum discus’s drums. I have checked underneath and followed the H/brake cable, there are no adjustment nuts on the cable. Do I have to strip the centre consol or .......? Thanks for your assistance.
If you followed the link that KaiV posted, you will see that there are drums built into the rear disk rotors.Bez wrote:Good day all,

basically what you need to do is:
1. Slack off the cable adjustments at the center console (so yes, you need to access that end).
2. Jack up a rear wheel and chock the wheels so the car wont fall on you.
From the inside of the brake cover plate you can turn the star wheel that adjusts the shoes - turn until the park brake shoes just catch.
3. Repeat operation 2 at the other wheel.
4. Remove jack.
5. Adjust at the console end until there are about 4 clicks to get the brakes to hold on a sloped driveway.
6. Go for an easy drive and make sure that there is not excessive heat generated at the either of the rear rotors.
Thanks very much for the info, I have done as you guys have detailed. Job done and dusted many thanks!
