We have a 2005 Pajero 3.2 DiD LWB GLX that does not have a 12 volt plug in the center armrest (there is a hole, but not plug).
Is this a standard plug that should have been there? Or are the front and rear 12v plugs the only standards ones?
And I assume we should take the Pajero to an auto-electrician to have the 12v plug fitted?

Many gadgets these days require USB ports for charging and operating. See if a multi USB "converter" won't meet your needs before allowing a butcher access to your car's wires.

I would be surprised if the cables aren't already there under the console, just requires the actual cigarette lighter installed and then you just plug it in. Pretty easy to get there if you want to have a look
