Hi
Don't know if I am going mad but I am sure my indicators used to wink when I remote locked the vehicle. Vehicle locks fine just no lights flash - normal ?

Put your hazards on and see if they work.
Also check fuse in fuse box below where bonnet lever is.Think its the bottom fuses the second from left
Also, look in the technical section of the forum i posted a link to a owners manual that shoes how to set your alarm system up.maybe yours has just set it self out somehow.
baisiccally you get in the car with your keys in your hand and front door open.
Pull the windscreen wiper lever towards you and hold it there. One beep means the alarm is in-active.Push the unlock button on remote (while still pulling lever towards you)and it should beep three times..Alarm now active.Something like this

Thanx for replies guys.
Can confirm no issues with hazards - tried the alarm programming can turn it on and of as per manual so no issue there - but still no lights flashing - very weird.
Ill scan for errors when I get a chance.

Hi John - hope you are well! Sorry to revisit such an old thread but was hoping to get some guidance here regarding the alarm system in our Pajero's. I have a 2008 GLS, and the alarm is not activated. I can see that the alarm LED is in the dashboard, next to the center speaker - however when I try and activate it using the wiper stalk, nothing happens. Drivers door is open, keys in hand etc.JohnG wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2015 7:50 am Put your hazards on and see if they work.

Did all pajeros come standard with the alarm or was it an added component? Additionally, if I've got the LED in place then surely the rest of the system is there too? I can't believe that my lancer has this but the top of the range mitsubishi at the time didnt... Really hoping theres a way to enable it!
