Pajero Sport Pads and Disk replacement
Hi folks, I just sent my 2011 PS 3.2 DiD in for its last service on the service plan, and they said I need to replace the front pads and discs and the rear pads. This naturally does not fall under the service plan and they quoted R9000+ ... Has anyone on this forum changed them on a PS, and if so, how difficult was it. Alternatively do you know of a service center in the Randburg area that charges a reasonable fee?

André,
Did you notice anything wrong with your brakes, why do they need to replace the front disks?

Re: Pajero Sport Pads and Disk replacement
Roelf, The pads definitely need replacing, and there is a slight wobble on the front discs when I brake (Warped)they have a number of grooves in them from small stones being caught between them and the pads. I have done 100 000km's on this set and some serious braking like the valleys in Lesotho and other off-roading which has contributed to the general wear and tear.

Thanks Andre.
Have you contacted Power Brake at all? Check their website as well.

Thanks Roelf. Went online today and ordered from them. Saved myself R1350 cost on the parts and have a far superior product...

Cool. I have tentatively decided to convert to Power Brake at the next scheduled service, should be around April next year.
