After receiving a request from a forum member about fixing his dash I was wondering if we can use this "open" thread to maybe use as a place for guys to post whether they would be interested in doing the fix In Cape town and even other areas of the country.
Then we can look into options to assist you in getting the fix done either by us or maybe someone in your area???
So please post whether you would like it done and from wherer you are amnd maybe the nearest major city to where you could commute
IanH....How are your tools coming along?have you maybe done a dash or two yet?Confident to do one maybe
I don't think we gave Ian any brackets yet???

I now have all the tools, including the 90deg drill attachment and the set of fancy plastic pry tools. However, as Kurt says, I will be needing some brackets. We'll need to arrange to send some down to me somehow. I'll be happy to pay for a few sets to keep in stock down here in CPT.
No l haven't done one yet, but after your step-by-step tutorial on my vehicle, and all the watching I did on the Sat, I am confident enough to do it. As you said in a previous post, I will be slow initially, but will get better with practice.
I noted the interest from Wheelnut. Will get in touch with him soon. Have been very busy with family stuff, but will be free soon.

Ian, send me a PM with your postal address and i will send a couple of brackets down. I sent two sets to PE and it cost R40.90 for postage at SAPO.

Howsit fellow Gen 4 owners, there are a few sets down in CT so for those that need it done can contact me or IanH for details. Other areas around the Bloem and Gauteng areas are also welcome to contact us for the fix, we are ready with our new Aluminium design

I desperately need a dash fix in whk. These corrugated roads are too hectic! Will provide lodging. The perfect halfway stop to Kaokoland.
