So now the bulb is in there and it will rattle me crazy.

Please how do I remove the lining?

Re: Help - need to drop roof lining
Screws....lots of screws.
You need to take off all grab handles, sun visors and some of the trim at the 3rd row seats.

If I rememver correctly you also need to loosen the seat belt covers on the center pilar. Think thats all.

Once all this is done you should be able to unclip the roof lining, section by section. It takes some time to remove the lining.. ..and reinstall it again.

O yes...I think there is a screw inside the front light as well.

Yea i got that one to late - after i popped the bolt in there.

But think i get the gist. The roof lining is kept in-place by all the handles, lights, teim etc.

Hopefully i can find that bulb with a partial removal only.

Thanks

Re: Help - need to drop roof lining
Hi Ritteling
I hope you have already solve your problem. If not, consider this advice.
The casing of the rattling bulb is made of metal. Use a strong magnet to pick it up and drag it to an opening.
Roof linings is made out of cart board covered with a thin peace of material. It damage very easy. I owe a panel beating business and work with it everyday. I advise you to have the lining removed by a good panel beater. Trust me, the amount you will pay is far less than a new roof lining.

Thanks - at the moment I am first seeing if it really rattles or if it got stuck somewhere. but we have yet to take the pajero off tar again so that may just dislodge it.

will poke around with a magnet :)

thanks for the advice.
