Good Morning all,
Thank you for allowing me to join up with you guys.
I am looking for any info regarding the clearly limited 3 door Pajero 1992 model full Japanese spec import.
more specifically with regards to the hydraulic suspension and how to service it and maintain it?
regards
Mark.
Wow, that puts new perspective on the term "limited". Please tell us more about your car and illustrate with photos.
I suggest you trawl the 4x4 Community forum and sneak a look at the Land Rover section. There will be enough guys there with suspension issues to point you to suitable service/repair options.

Good Day Roelf,
Will add some pics as soon as I can. I have looked in various forums regarding this issue and had no success. the landy guys have a large amount of info on air suspensions, sadly not on hydraulic.
My specific vehicle is a 1992 3.0L V6 manual. Japanese specification with all the bells and whistles. the ones that come in via Durban harbor and need to be registered in another country ie Botswana or Swaziland or Mozam.
it has washers on the head lights adjustable shocks and of course my problem the Hydraulic adjustable suspension.
this is and incredibly capable vehicle as standard from the factory and shares a lot of the local Pajero traits.
I am looking for any info or a workshop manual regarding this spec. Or more specifically any one who knows or has a diagram etc. on how it works.
I had unfortunately blown the right rear hydraulic bag or pouch that pumps up above the rear coil. which I was lucky enough to find a replacement for. I have installed it however the system doesn't seem to be working as it should........
any help would be appreciated thanks.
Regards

Mine is a similar model,
1993 2.8Tdi Swb.
Just do as well do and replace the shocks with regular ones. KYB seem the choice to go for and their base model is R500 each.
The gas one is quite a bit more expensive.
They can be maintained but will be very expensive. The only option is to import them and they cost around R3k each before taxes etc.
Very good models, check the cv boots, change the oils (all), check diff oils and enjoy years of reliable trouble free motoring.
