Has anybody tried to completely remove the 3rd row fold-away seat in a Gen3?

It's super easy. Just remove the two plastic covers over the hinge points on either side of the seat position (they have a plastic knob that you twist a 1/4 turn to open a little catch inthe cover. Now fold the seat out of its storage location below the boot floor, but keep the collapsible front leg of the seat folded so that the seat can rotate forward further than its normal erected position. Now the seat can simply be slid out of its hinges.
