I have the 3.5 petrol and a relay clicks sometimes when i am starting the motor.....and
its like a hicup....stutter caused by the relay sometime get the starter jam in a running condition.....

Can someone tell me if the there is a relay at the passengers feet side which causes this....

If you take out the passenger side speaker, you will see a small bracket with 2 relays on it. These relays have a strange pin config. I had a similar thing and to be safe and not wanting to be dumped in the bush, I got a local auto elec to replace them with common ones that you can buy anywhere and at the same time did a booster relay.

No more problems after that.

Thanks Mr Stranger. Will check it out. Its the speaker on the left side , more to the underside of the dash...is that correct ?
What do mean with booster relay ? one taking the strain away ?

Yes that speaker, just look straight through and you will see a bracket with 2 relays side by side.

A booster relay basically reroutes power more directly to the starter.
