Hi, my 1990 generation1 lwb 2.5tdi pajero (not LSD) would like a diff locker for the rear but I am at wits end on how to source a locker that will fit this model. ARB make for almost all the gen1 expect for the 2.5tdi as it has a 31 spline and most of the others are 28. I have thought of doing an axle swap from a gen2 with a diff locker but i am not sure if its possible?
I have read on the net that some guys do this swap but I cant remember if they swopped it with a gen 1 axle or gen 2 axle.
ARB make a front locker for my model but I would prefer a rear locker first and then maybe get a front one installed later.
Also read on the net that a front locker works better than a rear locker if you are stuck in a pickle......... thought this was a bit strange as I was always under the impression that a rear diff is the way to go.
Any words of advice/ help would be great
