After the car wash guy folded my rear seats back now suddenly the backrests are not lining up with each other anymore. It's almost as if the "catch" is no longer there. There's about a 40 mm difference. And me being OCD this bothers me every day...
Has anyone else had this problem before?
Use the adjuster and move the backrests to align.

And where is the adjuster located? Because both seats are secure in their positions by the "catch" levers.
I assume you have a Pajero Gen4? On the side of the seat cushions or the back of the backrest, I can't recall off hand.MrJuls wrote:And where is the adjuster located? Because both seats are secure in their positions by the "catch" levers.

No. To adjust only the seatback there is a handle on the side of the seatcushion part. Pull it up and you can adjust the backrest angle.
The one on the back of the backrest only lets it tip.

Yip, the levers on the side of the seat cushion. We used it last night on the shorty and my kids were able to sleep perfectly lying down. Amazing how practical the setup is, even for a short wheel base.

Gen 4 yes. I'll have to find that lever because I only see the reclining lever( On the back of seat) that slides up and down to lock the seat or to fold forward.
Sit in the back seat and feel with your hands on either side of your hips (depending what side you are sitting on), all will be revealedMrJuls wrote:Gen 4 yes. I was definitely not clear about which seats I was talking about. These are the back seats with this problem. I am well aware of the front seats' adjustment lever...
I have a 2009 model, maybe the later models do have adjustment levers on the back seats. Don't know. Mine only has a catch lever that secures it in it's position. And it's only one position.
