Flat at pull off
Hi members,

What would be the cause of my 3.2 DiD 2007, being very sluggish when pulling off especially up hill. My Cruise control also cuts off when for instance set to 120kph and going up hill if speed not reached. it has 185 000km on the clock and has been maintained very well.

would love some feedback

Regards,
Ezio (Durban)

Cruise will kick out when it drops to about 10km/h lower than the set speed.

Is this a new occurance recently that you have noticed?

Thanks CATS, I've had my Pajero for just under a year, don't use Cruise that often but when I have in the past it has kicked out. I have noticed the sluggish gear changing recently just after the 180k service.

Re: Flat at pull off
Maybe give it a bit of time. Sometimes the gearbox need to relearn your driving style after battery has been disconnected. Maybe that was done at the service.

Also check the short vacuum pipe coming from the sensor on top of the diesel filter and going to the inlet manifold is connected on both sides. Sometimes this gets knocked out during servicing and then leads to reduced engine performance.
