I have a 2000 model, Gen 3, 3.5L, Petrol GDI Pajero. Bought it in Botswana as Im working there. This is a Japenese spec. I have replaced the engine with a SA spec engine due to problems I had. Same type of engine .. 6G74
I've tried to do some research on whether I can decat the car but seem to come up with conflicting information.
Can it be done ... Some say Yes others say No. The No group says its due to the Oxygen (Temp ??) sensor behind the Cat that prevent one from doing it. The one closest to the middle muffler box. How many sensors do the exhaust system have. Once again .. some say 3 (2 oxygen and one temp), others say 2
Any advise will be appreciated.
