2005 Pajero LWB 3.8 Shocks?
Hi guys. Need some help please. Getting so much mixed info and opinions. I need to go out today and fit some new Shocks all around. What would you recommend for my vehicle? Gabriel, Monroe, OME? I bought her with 30mm lift coils so not sure if a standard shock will do. I only do soft offroading if any. Thanks for any advice

I would buy the OEM shocks. Other shocks sometimes make noises because the size of the mounting pins on top are not the correct diameter, at least on my SWB and EFS shocks this was the case on the rear. I think 30mm lift won’t make a difference using standard length OEM shocks.

I can confirm. I have KYB shocks, which is supposedly the Original manufacturer, with some lift, about 40mm I would say, and no hassles thus far and no noises. Plus they were not badly priced as well! Check the part numbers on KYB website for your model and order at your nearest Midas.

Thanks Cats. That alsp sound like a great idea. Im keen to get the shock I need and pick them up myself. Is it possible change the shocks myself? I'm quite capable

Rear is easy enough to do but front is a bit more tricky and might involve some special tools. I had mine fitted at Hi-Q at the time.
