Any advise please just redone my 2006 pajero gals lwb diesel now on start up it revs to 4000 and returns to 1200 idle what could possibly cause this pulling my hair out already

Hi any luck on pajero 3.2 did revving high on startup 3200rpm seconds later back to normal got same problem
