Location of fuse for towbar trailer plug connector
Hi
Can anyone tell where the specific fuse for a towbar trailer plug/connector would be and what the Amperage would be?

I know where the fuse boxes are located but not where the fuse itself within the fuse box is.

It seems to be a factory fitted towbar with trailer connector.

2009 Gen 4 LWB.

Thanks for the help.

".....If you have the factory wire harness, then yep there is fuse. Its in line to a red wire that comes of the postive terminal of the battery. Thick red wire. The fuse is about 7 cms down from the positive terminal. The way it works is it provides power to a box of tricks in the right side rear cargo area kick panel of the car. The blinker brakes etc provide the trigger to close relays in the box of tricks and then the red wire from the battery is what actually powers up the trailer. You can hear the replays at work when you have a trailer connected. If your trailer wiring is bit dodgy, the fuse will blow....."

I got this from an AUSSIE 4x4 forum (LH drive like us)) and maybe it is worth checking up on
