I am looking at a 2007 3.8 pajero lwb with 110 000 on the clock
90k service the cambelt was done, not so sure about the water pump
Any advice as to what else to look out for?
Trading in my 3.5 triton
So i am used to drink habbits of the v6
If anybody recognize the pajero please post your comments

Are you sure it is a 2007 ???? My 2007 (albeit a 3.2 D-ID) looks slightly different.....
My understanding is that the last Gen3’s were sold as very early 2007 models, they are rare but they do exist

Hi Obelix
I will be test driving it later today
According to the dealer its a 2007
I have look in the service book just to confirm the date of dirst service, that should give me a indication of year model.

Mine was first licensed in March 2007 and it is a Gen 4.
Also depends on the dealer's honesty. A 2007 is more expensive than a 2006 !!

Hi Kurt/ Obelix
Just returned from a weekend away
Did take it for test drive
It felt if there was no oemf in the auto
Engine sounds fine no tappet clutter etc
Might just be me being used to a manual 3.5
Fisrt service was done in March 2007
Last service in 2017
Last 2 years it did less that 8k
Still in 2 mind's though keep the triton or go for the pajero

Any vehicle should be serviced annually or every 15,000km (for the petrol) so I would be weary that it hasn’t been serviced for two years.....

Will keep it in mind
They will have to give it oil only service for the warranty purposes
I already bought the oil and oil filter for the triton for its 225k service
I will just use that for a nother oil change after about 100km driving
Think i am going to bite the bullet on this and take the pajero
I also spoke to Fanie at crd and he knows the previous owner and he also serviced the pajero
Thanks for all the input
