70 % on road, 30 % off road.
Current tyres Goodyear Wranglers due to be replaced soon.
Okay. 30% use is very high so you must get yourself an LT spec if you want to avoid punctures. This only leaves you with a handful of options in A/T and they are pricey.
So depending on budget, you can get BFG KO2 for around R3700 per tyre or Cooper ST Maxx for R4500 per tyre.
Alternatively there is M/T which is a lot more aggressive and the Dunlop or General M/T’s are fairly reasonable.
And lastly, you can look at Goodyear Duratrac but their speed rating is quite low (Q) compared to the standard S or T that the Paj comes out with.
Go to www.errolstyres.co.za and punch in your size then scroll through until you see something in your budget and what suits your taste.

Remember that’s 3000km out of every 10000km of driving, that’s a lot of dirt road mileage unless you’re a tour guide or an epic adventurer extraordinaire
