ABS Brake System Front Brake ABS sensor and cable -- where to PUrchase
Greetings forum members

My Pajero SWB Gen 2.5 ( Blister Fender ) was end of last year at the Indy for a normal service
Why / How I have not managed to work out-- but the mechanic doing the work broke the ABS cable ? :x

They agreed to replace it at their cost
I suggested obtaining TWO so that a spare was available -- for which I paid R900.00

Nearly three months later and nothing has been done -- just a continual run-around ( cable is "in the post" )
Apparently it is not possible to remove a cable from a scrapped vehicle as the sensor lodges so tightly that it breaks every time an attempt is made to remove it ?

I have now decided to take matters into my own hands !
I will ask for my money back -- plus THEIR contribution seeing as they broke it , and am now looking for where such a part can be obtained / purchased

Please can someone who has had a cable replaced , or knows where such a part can be ordered from , pass this information on to me
PM here on the board is fine
I am tired of driving with the red light and would really like to get the vehicle back to A-OK 100%

Much appreciated

I have purchased spares from eBay on a regular basis. Not sure what year your SWB is, but here is a link to a cable for an 01-06 Pajero. https://www.ebay.com/itm/OE-MR569412-AB ... Swg3FUbZr8

Hope it helps.
