Can anyone please advise me why there is a vibration on the brakes when travelling downhill? I replaced the front discs and added new pads 6 months ago. I again sceemed them, but no change??? I am desperate to have it fixed?
My 2002 SWB does the same. Braking is good and I have just thought it is an unrefined ABS system that doesn't smooth out the braking intervals - but that's just a guess! I'll be interested to know if there's some other underlying problem if anyone on the forum has the knowledge.
Good day
Had same problem on my SWB 3.8, replaced front discs, prob was still prevelent, took it to a specialist who said it was feedback from warped rear discs, replaced them, problem solved.

I've had the same problem with my LWB 2015 3.2 DID - vibration on the steering wheel when braking going downhill. Tyre rotation helped a bit but the problem only disappeared completely when I replaced my tyres - Dunlop to Michelin.
I managed to get the problem resolved. I had the front discs sceemed again, but also done the rear ones and added new rear break shoes. Problem resolved after 8 months!
I also experienced the vibration when applying the brakes on my 2016 SWB. Scimming front & rear discs brought some relief, but not completely. Only after the front and rear discs were replaced did we have no more vibration.
