My 2010 Pajero Sport 4x4 selector lever is stuck in 4H. I have removed the selector cover and lever to check if the nylon bush (mentioned on other forums) was damaged but to my surprise I found a metal ball instead of the nylon ball.
I could not find anything faulty on the removed selector lever mechanism as it moves freely to any direction. Trying to move the selectors on the gearbox forward and backwards with a scredriver was not an optioin as it is stuck in the prosition as it is now.
Do you guys think it is a mechanical problem or maybe an electronic problem?
Where do I begin searching for the fault?
