Good morning.
I have a 2013 Pajero with Xenon low beams. The auto electrician says the control unit (or ballast) is faulty and needed to be replaced. (He already replaced the bulb, but it only lights up for a short time, when I switch off and on again, the bulb works for a short time). The Pajero dealer quoted me R11,833 for a new one.
I am trying to find a second hand unit, but I cannot find it as they want the serial number and a photo.
Does anyone has such or even a second hand unit?
Where is the control unit located?
Thanks you for your help.
Johan
Good morning,
I guess nobody on the forum experienced this problem and therefore no feedback.

I suspect a control unit failure because low beam xenon globes don’t get energised.
To date I have not found suitable recommendations from several search engines and platforms.

Dealer qouted me today R17k for a control unit.
Considering to replace entire cluster with GLX normal globes set up for 7-8k per cluster.

Some guys have done either halogen or led conversions.
I really don't know know about any feedback.
R7k sounds very excessive for such a mod.
