How long will Gen3 3.5 timing belt hydraulic tentioner last?
I did new cam belt, idler, water pump and tentioner bearing after 80 000 km. Fitted new aftermarket hydraulic tentioner which failed after 200km. I put my old OE hydraulic tentioner back as a temporary solution.
How long can I drive with the old OE tentioner? As mentioned it did 80 000km.
