Rust in sunroof
Good day,

This weekend when I opened my sunroof the weather strip came loose from the frame

The Steele frame is still perfect at the bottom but the edges where the rubber/weather strip mounts is rusted and some parts of that has rusted away therefore the rubber came loose.

More bad news, weather strip R4358 and glass Assy R24 481 from the dealers (20/11/23)-absolutely disgusting.

Is there anybody that can replace/repair the "lip" around the sunroof or selling the same kind of rubber because the heat in Richards Bay is unbearable, just Sunday it was 46 degrees

May I please get some help/advise on this issue/problem cause i know it was previously discussed on the forum but perhaps something new came up?

My Pajero is such a pleasure to drive and i don't want to let it go just because of the sunroof hiccup and did cambelt, water pump, front suspension, shocks, ATF filter and gearbox oil and all the pulleys and major service.

Have a pleasant day.

Riaan
Re: Rust in sunroof
We, two woman, both drive Pajero’s and had the same problem. We took the sunroof out and epoxied the edge and it is in for over a year now and no issues.
