Well, I got my new suspension fitted today. I got tired of waiting for OME (over 2 months) and got recommended EFS, so I bit the bullet and had it fitted. I've only driven a couple of k's so far on it so I'll report back once I've done a bit of driving, but so far so good- a noticable improvement in handling and confort, and probably a 50mm lift. So far so good!
I have no idea how to post pictures, but will try to figure it out.
Went for a drive this morning, and its amazing what a difference the suspension makes to the ride - much more confortable and stable on tar and gravel. Very pleased so far!

Hi
What vehicle do you have. I have bought a 2007 3.2 and it needs a "lift". I'm sure you have done major research into what to fit, what do you suggest?

Mark, there is a never-ending debate on the "best" suspension upgrade.
I just bit the bullet and fitted Old Man Emu (OME). I have been impressed with on and off-road handling.
I did not have the torsion bars replaced, since I do not yet have an aftermarket front bumper or winch. Once I do that then the torsion bars will have to be replaced.
Nico.
PS. Other options will include: Ironman
Camil
Bilstein
Koni
etc.

Sounds good. What is EFS? I know OEM(Original Equipment of Manufacturer), OME(Old Man Emu), IM (IronMan), XGS(the TJM version), Bilstein, but I don't know EFS?Darrell wrote:Well, I got my new suspension fitted today. What do you mean by comfort improving?? Handling I can grasp, but ride comfort?
Is it softer,or just firmer or am I asking dof questions here??
