Just be wary. My led bulbs failed within a few weeks. I suspect they dont like the low voltage of the dimmer switch (i like to dim mine all the way when driving at night)

Ended up putting normal globes back in.

So it seems that this is a common problem. I got in my 2006 Paj last night after parking at the shops for an hour and 'oh dear' my back left 2WD light is not working.

So those that have done the fix, can you post a pic or describe the bulb holder.
Is it the little bulb set in a plastic holder. Quarted turn locks it into place ?
One similar to this blew in my Ventilation controls recently after moving it to lower position. Midas/Autozone do not stock anything like it. I was fortunate to have an old Cressida A/C switch at home that had a similar bulb.

Bought them from Mitsubishi Paarden Eiland, for R15.00 each, granted, it was a year or so back.

Thanks craigdre

Its hard to tell how big that is but does look a little bigger that the ventilation Control lamp that I replaced.

Can you pull the actual glass bulb out of the plastic holder and replace just the bulb or do you replace the complete unit ?

It comes as a complete unit.

"So it seems that this is a common problem."

Fourteen months between posts - I don't think it is that common :D

But thanks to this forum, it most definitely isn't a serious problem.

It struck me yesterday that those green '2WD' lights work harder than any other bulb in the car. When the car is switched on, they are on as well.
