That red Pajero is a very good looking vehicle.

Jonny,
Must say... it sure is getting to look better every day. If all go according to the script, then I'll meet it personally on Fri morning.

Thanks.
We are actually more impressed than what I had expected. It is a very smooth car and oh so very big
. I can't believe my previous Pajeros were this big.
It has already been introduced to the mountains around town.
Happened to bump this morning into the gent that bought my 2006 DiD GLS LWB. His Pajero is now on 170k and they are still very happy. His wife said they saw the pretty red Paj when they drove into the parking area. He had a quick look and wanted me to look after it for him (until he saw it was a petrol

How's the power delivery on the newer 3.8?
Marius,
This car is so big and "lumbering" compared to the 34kw less SWB, that I find it very difficult to objectively quantify the difference. Bottom line is that it is very smooth and the interior is more quiet then the SWB (which was Limosine like already
). What I firmly believe, but many kms and tanks of petrol will tell the true story, is that this bigger car is going to be lighter on fuel. I'm not sure if the "cleaner" frontal area or the smoother torque curve (or both) is the cause.

Congratulations.
let me scratch where it's not itching
I've put a stainless free flow on when i received mine, only to have the vife complaining that it's too noisy
I have to replace the exhaust or the vife
(cheaper to do the exhaust!
would you be interested? No compulsion here,it's just that she's refusing to travel in the Paj until it's got less brom.
I'm considering putting a stock system back,so feel free to let me know if you like a bit of vroom to invade your peace and quiet.
PS:driving at 140 returns 7.25km/l.120 was 7.69km/l
