I would also be interested in a set of spacers for my Gen 3. If you guys find a supplier or someone willing to make some, count me in!

Louis from Desert Storm in Worcester made and installed my spacers in 2009 for R3000,00. It's about 40 to 50mm lift.

Thanks Vic,
Can you provide some more details, also contact numbers, we may want to try and arrange a group buy for spacers, quite a lot of interest. If you don't mind me asking, how much did these set you back, and thoughts both pro's and con's that you may have experienced.
As much info as possible would be awesome.
Cheers
David

David, I just had a look again and saw that I installed the spacers in April 2010 for R3000,00 at Desert Stormers in Worcester.

You will get all that you need on their website, Louis is a Land Cruiser Specialist but believe me he knows what he is doing and you will see on the site even pictures of a nice stainless bumper for the Pajero. Louis was the one that advice me to do a lift with the spacers rather than an expensive suspension upgrade that I was intended to do. The only thing that he did after the installation was the weal alignment, if the lift is to high you will run into problems with the alignment.

THanks Vic, I got pricing from Stofpad which was around the same mark, was hoping for cheaper though, van zyls is R2400 for 4 new springs so that is my benchmark on this one. Will see on group buy what discounts we can get

I have spoken to Uys from Stofpad and he indicated a cost of around R900 for the pair of front spacers
Made from Billet, which is not bad at all, will need to arrange a group buy for this one. Will be taking my Paj
there next week for some measurements for front and rear tho. Cost of rear looks a bit high and will confirm next week.
Will get costing from Desert Storm for front spacers tomorrow too
What are your thoughts on the pair of front from Uys and 80 serieas cruza spacers at the rear as per some of the Aussies?
That is what I will be working towards for now and confirm the dimensions for the rear and finalise a solution and reasonable cost.

Hi David,
Thank you for doing all the hard work!
R900 sounds really reasonable, I would be happy with that!
What amount of lift should we be expecting? 40-50mm?
The rear doesnt have a shock mount inside the springs, so it should be cheaper to make, not true?
On a side note - I see the guys in Aus rave about Lovell springs with Bilstein shocks on the Pajero Club Forum - Have any of you came across them here in SA? I know Bilstein shocks are available, but I wonder what the springs will cost to import..

Would be nice to get 40-50mm lift without having to replace the shocks and coils.

That's the lift I got from "Uys" spacers.
