Hi
I had a quick look this morning, looks simple to remove these seats.
Two bolts on the seats self and another on the shock.
Any comments or advice?
Regards,

Yip, very easy. The seats are heavier than you would expect. Their removal also leaves holes in the floor. You can screw the bolts back into their holes, but there are "locating studs" that also go right through the floor. Presstick solved that problem for me.
PS: the shock is fully mounted/attached to the seat, so does not have it's own bolts.

Thank you Roelf
I removed the arm rests as well.
Who said a Shorty doesn't have boot space?

I like the extra space so much, that I still haven't returned the seats.

Thanks Skillie and Roelf
I also want to remove mine and it sounds quite straight forward. Are there any pitfalls that you encoutered....I have ahabit of turning a 'simple task' into the 'most complicated project you have ever seen'
The only thing I find missing from this thread is 'REPLACEMENT OF SECOND ROW SEATS', seeing that the replacement has not yet been attempted, and what to do with the spare, unused parts, or is that another thread?
Looking forward to some pro advice.

Curly,
Replacing is a reversal of removing. It really is the most simple mechanical task to perform.
Spare parts after replacing goes to the SPCA shop to be sold

Thanks for that, Roelf
No comment on the potential pitfalls, so I suppose I can just lever the plastic covers off and then start undoing bolts (if they are at the base of the seats, of course) and continue until the seats are loose
Do you have advice on what to do with the exposed bolt holes after removal

I would hate for dirt road dust to come in there

Yip, just prise the plastic covers off. Replace the bolts back into their original holes. The other "locating holes" will want some covering-up. I saw my buddy had cut a little plastic cover and bolted it back in place. I just push prestic into the holes.
