Good day Gents, and the odd Lady or 2 ;)
This question was asked by myself on 4x4comm, but since I'm desperate for a solution I'm asking here too . . . .

"Eish, I've now had it, my sinusses are stuffed, my ears are stuffed ( from SWAMBO's complaining ) and I don't have a solution yet . . .
The ventilation system on the Paj 02 model smells extremely dusty, aircon on or aircon off, doesn't matter. Ok, ok, before everyone jumps on the pollen filter behind the cubbyhole, I've cleaned and replaced more than once . . . . any other suggestions or ideas perhaps ? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . PLEASE ?? "

Johan,

Probeer gerus.

Groete, Cloyd.

Johan

You can also make sure that the aircon drain pipe is not blocked. I had this once in a Corsa and the putrid water smell was very much evident until we found the drainage pipe blocked. With the pipe cleared the smell disapeared after a while as it dried out properly.

Thanx guys, I'm going to tackle the drainpipe immediately and will have a look at the rest tonight at home.

Will report back once it is solved.

Also have a look under the condensor of the aircon... if the mat under it is damp you definitely have a blocked drainpipe.

If it is blocked you can easily unblock it, and then I would run a can of aircon refresher through the vehicle

Ag neewat, ek het 'n baie beter manier gekry.

Doen as volg:

-Sprinkel 2 tots Captain Morgan oor genoemde filter
