Gen 4 Side view mirror vibrations
All

just fixed mine:):):)

Its a simple thing, took me not even 5 minutes. The stealers wanted to replace the whole thing :?

Attached is the procedure to remove the mirror. What it doesnt tell you is be prepared cause it really pops out.... Lucky I managed to catch it.
The rattling comes from the "front or forward facing top cover" It has some clips on the inside (see clips pic) that I couldnt get loose. So, I glued it vas:):):)

Four spots of Pratley clear and pop the mirror back in. SORTED

Also, a big thanks to the Ozzi guys for the destruction manual ;)

Thanks for sharing this. Just a question. Did this fix a noisy rattle that you experienced? Or did it fix a wobbly mirror which makes it difficult to see in the rearview mirror? :?:

I am slightly confused as you make mention of vibration and rattle?

I have a wobbly mirror on the passenger side so will give it a go if it is the latter.

Nope, this was a vibrating cover on the mirror, which rattled

Will find the thread and post about fixing a wobbly mirror ;)
