Firstly welcome to the club.

As Johan mentioned, maybe look at an older model. i.e. Gen 2.5 or so, if your only looking for a vehicle for use there, and for bundu bashing, then that should also work for you.

Pricing should be a lot better, and still comes with all the goodies, i.e. rear diff lock, cruise cntrl and all the other comforts,
further more IIRC because of the blister fender, when up-sizing your wheels (after raising your suspension) you don't really have to cut or really modify the wheel arches to accommodate.

Just a thought.

Welkom to the forum!

You can't go wrong with a Gen2.5 - 3.5V6. They are strong sturdy vehicles and a bit more suitable (price wise) than a Gen3 for what you plan to do I think.

Just wondering: what is the quality of diesel like over there?
